Don Mavity talks about local churches' involvement in the cleanup of Phenix City during the 1950s. He shares his impressions of the town when he first arrived (before the cleanup) and talks about the Russell Betterment Association's connections to churches. Rev. Mavity also discusses the progress Phenix City has made since the 1950s.
